It’s rich aroma and delicious taste make it an incredible snack to indulge in. If Parmesan cheese is your go-to cheese, then you’re going to absolutely love the recipe that I’m about to share today. It makes baked keto Parmesan chips that are out of this world good. The most amazing part is that they take just over 10 minutes to make from start to finish, using only a few tasty keto-friendly ingredients. So the next time you get a craving for a healthy snack, keep this recipe in mind, and you’ll be able to enjoy some delicious baked chips in no time flat.

Yummy Umami Bombs

If you’re unfamiliar with the term ‘umami’, it’s one of the five basic tastes (the others being sweet, sour, bitter, and salty). Umami can basically be described as a “savory” taste, which definitely sums up this chip recipe perfectly. Not only are you getting the famously distinctive taste of Parmesan cheese, but the use of ingredients like Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper all help to add an unbelievable amount of flavor to these chips as well.

Speaking of the Italian seasoning, while you could just go out and buy some from the grocery store easily enough, I prefer to make my own from scratch at home using a variety of tasty ingredients. Just mix together some oregano, thyme, basil, rosemary, sage, and marjoram and you’ve got everything you need to make your own savory, or rather your own umami Italian seasoning. More importantly, this mixture of culinary herbs also provides you with quite a few impressive health benefits, such as helping to prevent cancer and fighting inflammation. (1)

When it comes to actually making the Parmesan chips, there’s nothing to it. Simply mix the cheese together with the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl and then spoon the mixture out onto a baking sheet, leaving about two inches of space between them. Bake them for between 6-8 minutes and then let them cool completely before you serve them. You’ll be in and out of the kitchen in about 10 minutes.

Baked Keto Parmesan Chips

2 ½ oz grated parmesan
¼ tsp Italian seasoning
freshly ground black pepper, to taste
pinch of salt


  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a bowl place all the ingredients and mix to combine.
  4. Spoon the cheese by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 6 to 8 minutes or until crisp and golden.
  6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely on the baking sheet before serving.
