  1. Place the almond flour, Parmesan cheese, flax meal, Italian seasoning, garlic powder and salt to taste in a shallow bowl and mix to combine. Set aside. 
  2. Add the egg to another bowl and beat it lightly.
  3. Dip each cheese stick in the egg then coat in the almond flour mixture. 
  4. Repeat this step. 
  5. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. 
  6. Freeze for minimum 4 hours or overnight. 
  7. In a heavy saucepan, heat the oil to 365°F..
  8. Working in batches, fry the cheese until golden brown, about 30 seconds per side. 
  9. Remove from heat and drain on paper towels.
