How to Make the Perfect Keto Margarita

Also known as a Skinny Margarita, this keto-friendly recipe is low-carb and sugar-free. Margaritas are undeniably refreshing with just the right balance of sweetness and tanginess. I like my margaritas simple and straightforward–no fancy ingredients and flavors. Silver or blanco tequila is the most ideal to use as it is unaged and pure, which brings out the other flavors of the cocktail. Aged tequila or gold tequila leaves an oaky taste with spicy notes which may not blend well with other ingredients in a margarita.

When in doubt, make two types and try it for yourself!

How Often Can I Drink Alcohol on the Keto Diet?

How Long Do Margaritas Last in the Fridge?

It’s best to consume homemade margaritas within 4-5 days of mixing. The acidity of the freshly squeezed lime juice can turn bitter over time, so just try to make a fresh batch if you can.
