Flourless Keto Chocolate Lava Cake

2 oz sugar free dark chocolate
1 tbsp almond flour
2 oz butter, plus more for greasing ramekins
2 eggs
½ tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp granulated Stevia or other low carb granulated sweetener
cacao powder, for dusting (optional)


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Place the chocolate and butter into a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted. Set aside.
  3. Beat the eggs and sweetener together in a mixing bowl until smooth and pale.
  4. Add the melted chocolate and butter mixture and vanilla extract and beat until smooth.
  5. Add the almond flour and mix until smooth.
  6. Pour into 2 lightly greased ramekins.
  7. Bake in preheated oven for 9 – 11 minutes or until just firm to touch.
  8. Gently turn the cakes out onto a cake plates.
  9. Dust with cacao and serve.
