Low Carb Keto Cream Cheese Cookies with Cherry Glaze

For the cookies:
2 ½ cups almond flour
¼ cup butter, softened
1 oz cream cheese, softened
½ cup granulated Stevia or other low carb granulated sweetener
1 egg white
1 tsp vanilla extract

For the cream cheese filling:
4 oz cream cheese
2 tbsp granulated Stevia or other low carb granulated sweetener
½ tsp vanilla extract
1 egg yolk

For the cherry glaze:
1 ½ cup frozen cherries
3 tbsp granulated Stevia or other low carb granulated sweetene


  1. To make the cookies, cream the butter and sweetener.
  2. Add the egg white and vanilla extract and beat to combine.
  3. Add the almond flour and mix to combine.
  4. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for minimum one hour.
  5. Meanwhile, make the cherry glaze.
  6. Place the cherries and sweetener in a saucepan and simmer over medium low heat, stirring frequently, until thicken.
  7. Remove from the heat and set aside.
  8. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  9. To make the cream cheese filling, beat all the ingredients until combined.
  10. Remove the dough from the refrigerator.
  11. Use 1 inch cookie scoop to scoop balls of dough onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
  12. Flatten each ball slightly.
  13. Using a tablespoon measure, create a small bowl shape in the center of each ball.
  14. Spoon the cream cheese filling into the indents of the cookies.
  15. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the filling is barely set and the cookies are lightly golden.
  16. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before serving.
  17. Spoon the cherry glaze onto cooled cookies just before serving.
