Comforting Keto Chicken Fried Steak with Creamy Sausage Gravy

For the steaks: 


For the gravy: 


  1. Season the chicken with salt and black pepper to taste. 
  2. In a shallow dish combine the egg and heavy cream. 
  3. In another shallow plate combine the crushed pork rinds, grated Parmesan cheese, onion powder, garlic powder and paprika. 
  4. Dip each chicken piece in the egg mixture then dredge in the pork rind mixture.
  5. Add about an inch of oil to a heavy, deep frying pan. 
  6. Heat the oil over medium high heat. 
  7. Fry 2 steaks at time, 2-3 minutes per side or until lightly browned. 
  8. Remove the steaks from the pan and set aside. 
  9. Drain all the oil from the pan. 
  10. Add the butter and melt it over medium heat. 
  11. Add the onion and cook for 3-5 minutes. 
  12. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds. 
  13. Add the sausage and cook until no longer pink. 
  14. Add the heavy cream and cook until thicken. 
  15. Add the parsley and stir to combine. 
  16. Season to taste with salt and black pepper. 
  17. Pour the gravy over steaks and serve.
