Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF. 
  2. To make the garlic butter, combine all the ingredients and set aside. 
  3. To make the chaffle, in a small bowl combine the almond flour, baking powder and flaxseed meal (if using). 
  4. In another bowl combine the eggs and shredded mozzarella. 
  5. Add the almond flour mixture and whisk to combine. 
  6. Preheat a mini waffle maker.
  7. Pour 3-4 tablespoons of mixture to fill the bottom part, do not overfill. 
  8. Cook for 3-5 minute or until golden brown. 
  9. Lightly grease a square baking dish. 
  10. Place 4 chaffles on the bottom. 
  11. Brush the chaffles with garlic butter. 
  12. Top with ham and cheese. 
  13. Place the remaining chaffles onto the sandwiches. 
  14. Brush with remaining garlic butter. 
  15. Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
