Garlic Butter Keto Bread Crumbs (Crispy and Low Carb)

For the bread:


The rest of ingredients: 


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. 
  2. Line an 8×4 inch loaf pan with parchment paper. Set aside. 
  3. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment add the almond flour, baking powder, salt and psyllium husk powder and mix to combine. 
  4. Add the melted butter, boiling water and eggs and mix until well combined and dough firms up.
  5. Transfer the dough to the prepared loaf pan.
  6. Smooth the top with spatula. 
  7. Bake for 55-65 minutes or until a toothpick, inserted in the middle comes out clean and the top is very hard like a bread crust.
  8. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before slicing. 
  9. Slice the bread. 
  10. Again, preheat the oven to 350°F. 
  11. Place the bread slices on a baking sheet. 
  12. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly toasted and dry. 
  13. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely. 
  14. Place the bread in a food processor and pulse until finely ground. 
  15. Melt the butter in a large skillet over low heat. 
  16. Add the garlic and cook for 3-4 minutes. 
  17. Discard the garlic. 
  18. Add the crumbs to the butter and stir gently until coated. 
  19. Season to taste with salt and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the butter is absorbed.
  20. Remove from the heat and allow to cool completely. 
  21. Transfer to a jar or airtight container. 
  22. The crumbs will keep at room temperature for about 2 weeks.
